MELTING METAL FURNACES
Musto et Bureau designs and manufactures customised industrial melting metal furnaces for the main non-ferrous castings. The furnaces are made entirely in our workshop and engineered by our team.
We design these furnaces for melting metals according to each customer’s needs and for the following metals:
magnesium, zinc, lead, tin and aluminum.
Furnaces can be both gas or electric heated and we can supply you with either fixed or tilting furnaces.
When manufacturing metal furnaces, it is essential to properly calculate the laying of the refractory lining that we will install in order to avoid thermal dispersions and ensure maximum energy efficiency.
All the crucibles inside the melting metal furnaces are manufactured by Ditta Musto,
except for the crucibles for casting aluminum, which must be strictly refractory, graphite
or silicon carbide.
